Here I quickly want to show you an example of the results
that AdSense optimization can achieve.
The graph to the right shows the earnings of one of my sites.
The site in question has a steady flow of traffic and there were
no significant changes in any variables during the period shown.
As you can see there is an increase in earning per day during
the period shown on the graph. This is the result of optimizing
the advertisements on my website.
During this period I experimented with the type, appearance
and location of my adverts. I created custom channels to monitor
the results of my changes and through trial and error achieved
the results shown - i.e. just over a 2 fold increase in daily
earnings.
This is quite a significant increase in earnings and it really
helps to emphasize the need to optimize advert placement etc...
when participating in programs such as Google AdSense.
